  • Substantia (2007)
Mayec Rancel & José A. Soto

    3d animation.
In a strange universe crossed by destructive meteors, heart-shaped planets wander alone, eternally. But in very rare occasions, coincidence (or fate) brings an encounter with a tear, and from it springs life, springs an eternal story. A story which is many stories. A story whose end is the beginning. It is life. It is Substantia.
  • Politeness & Tires (2007)
    Mayec Rancel

    3d animation.
Sometimes human beings have to decide between habit and survival. Sadly, and unlike other animal species, we don't always have clear enough priorities. This short film shows an example not too far from (sur)reality.
  • Birdtigo (2005)
Mayec Rancel, Luis Terrón, Demian Montreal, Miguel Eiras

    3d animation.
It's usual to be a fish and not be fond of walking. But what about a bird who's afraid of heights? Would that be possible?
  • Amor Redondo (2005)
Mayec Rancel, Alejandro Abadía, Blanca de Miguel, Víctor Pellico, José A. Soto

    2d animation.
Is there a secret to conquer the beloved person's heart? With humor, this short film tries to answer this universal question.
  • Inner Silence: Canción de un Ocaso (2005)
    Mayec Rancel

    3d animation.
Carlos Araldi, once a succesful violin player, in the present has to leave aside his passion for music, and cope with mediocre jobs to survive. The story begins when, sunken in the frustration of a disapointing life, he meets again with music, the only passion of his life, in the form of his old violin.
  • En Paz (2006)
    Mayec Rancel

    Live Action.
    Spanish (English subtitles).
"In Peace". After working late one night, Eduardo can finally go to bed. But his sleep is soon interrupted by construction work in his building. On the border between dreaming and wakefulness, between sanity and madness, Eduardo's fantasies could turn into a very real nightmare.
